Recommendations on new rig hardware

Recommended Posts

I would recommend Asus 's newer Miner motherboard, it can grow up to 20 video cards.

You can purchase the required power supplies over time as you grow. i.e. one PS per 8 cards. Make sure to get the 1600 watt power supplies that are made for 8 GPUs.

Also get a frame for the rig, I have 2 frames per rig, with my limitation of 13 video cards.

Any links to where you purchased the hardware?

RealOpty,

I currently use the Asus B250 Plus Expert Mine mobo. (only supports 13 cards, but has slots for 20)

I run a Intel® - Core™ i5-6500 3.2GHz Processor - Silver/ blue.

8GB of ram is good enough, the real processing is done on the video cards, so not a whole lot is needed on the mobo.
