This week we protested peacefully against the lives wasted coding in lesser languages that don’t rhyme with poo-basic and argued for a solid hour about the color of a single dot on a page nobody reads. 4. We’re excited to share additional details about the hard fork process that will be used to launch the world’s first private stablecoin, xUSD, on July 20th. Today we published the mainnet release code to enable xUSD functionality on Haven’s network. Haven’s Apollo v1.0.0 is set to fork on July 20th at block height 640640, or roughly 15:00 GMT+1. Functionality for xUSD transactions will be enabled automatically 10 blocks later during a second fork at block height 640650. This mechanism is being used to ensure that pricing records are already recorded in previous blocks for use when xUSD transa

    Weekly Dev Update #108

Hey Y’all, This week’s primary focus was on Session Desktop, where we finished wrapping up a massive refactor of message send and receive flows. The Session team is now testing these changes in anticipation of inclusion in an upcoming public release. The Loki Core team continued work on Ledger wallet support and Pulse implementation, with some additional LokiMQ changes. The Lokinet team worked on the removal of redundant code and LokiMQ-related changes. Loki Core Continued work on Pulse (No PRs yet) Continued working on Ledger hardware wallet support (No PRs yet) Final re
  6. The Loki Core team is announcing that we will be discontinuing support for Loki Launcher in the next major hardfork. Why? Although Loki Launcher was initially the only way to manage the entire Loki Service Node suite, the Loki team has since added Debian packages which allow a user to download and run the required suite of Loki software as a system service. Supporting two software packages has increased time spent upgrading and adding new features to each package. In addition, after completing the recent Service Node operator survey, we found that all surveyed Service Node oper

  11. Monero General Fund Transparency Report Welcome to the first Monero General Fund Transparency Report. The Core Team would like to put out consistent reports about the usage of the general fund. Since the Core Team has changed since the general fund’s inception, and the memories can be a bit hazy for time periods long gone, we have decided that our first report will cover the periods of 2019-2020, with subsequent reports coming out every half-year. We do apologize for the delay on getting this report out. There were a few finer details in 2019 that needed to be tracked down. That should be
